PKC Board Members

PKC Current Board

BryanJackson

Bryan Jackson
President

Bryan began playing pickleball in 2010 in Arizona and joined COPA that spring playing indoors and then outdoors in the lacrosse box at Parkinson Rec Centre where 4 courts were painted and temporary nets were set up to play. When COPA moved to Hartwick Park in 2011, Bryan joined the board as a director. In 2012 COPA was disbanded as there was no longer a need to represent the entire Okanagan - clubs were being formed in each town. The indoor programs were taken over by the City and Pickleball Kelowna was formed as strictly an outdoor pickleball club.
Bryan and Lana are the Club delegates who worked with the City of Kelowna to obtain the current 12 dedicated courts we now play on. They continue to work toward a larger new dedicated facility in the future. Bryan co-ordinates the maintenance, repairs and any communication between Parkinson's Rec, Sport Kelowna and the City.
When not at the pickleball courts, you might find Bryan on the links at Gallagher's Canyon Golf Course.
